The food in France is renowned and nowhere more so than in Burgundy, with three three star Michelin restaurants serving gastronomic cuisine. There are new chefs on the rise too offering everything from the reasonably priced set 'menu du jour' up to elaborate gourmet fare. So try the traditional dishes such as Boeuf Bourguignon and Coq au Vin, complimented with Burgundy wine.
It is recommended that you make a reservation to avoid disappointment. Lunch is served between 12.00 and 14.00 and dinner from 19.30 to 22.00. There is little available outside of these hours but for a meal ‘on-the-go’ the Courtepaille chain serves meals all day through. |
