Travel around Europe

Eurolines, part of National Express, have extensively extended their European network. For example you can travel from London Victoria to Dijon, leaving at 8 a.m. and arriving at 23.30, for the price of £69 single. There's a great value ticket price of 11 euros for the journey by coach from Dijon to Lyon. The international coach operator has been granted the licence to pick up and drop off passengers on its routes under new regulations from the European Union to make travel more accessible to people with a small budget. Travel within Burgundy

Buses in Burgundy are organized by the transport section of each regional Conseil Général in the four departments, Côte d´Or, Nièvre, Saône-et-Loire and Yonne.

Here we show links to the bus routes and timetables. Take care when looking at timetables as some of these routes are geared to school term time only or change during the holiday periods and at the weekends. If you want to travel from département to département, that is another challenge.

We try to keep up to date with these schedules but double-check where possible with the local transport company or tourist office.
