Pam Elson

Pam Elson, Burgundy, France

My love of Burgundy began in the 1980’s when my husband was working in Vézelay and Beaune. At the time I was a journalist, on women’s magazines in London. This was followed by 15 years in Ronda in Southern Spain. I continued to contribute to travel and lifestyle magazines there, but during holiday times, we kept returning to Burgundy to enjoy the contrast of the verdant countryside, the food and wine of course, the rivers and lakes, and the cultured, gentle people. It remains largely unchanged today. I hope that you too will catch our enthusiasm for this glorious region of France and visit time and again.
