Recently renovated, this holiday rental cottage combines the best of the old world with the new. The stone walls and wooden beams provide the character, the newly kitted out kitchen and bathroom and the up-to-the minute tech will provide all the family with today's holiday needs

Petit Crème is in the charming medieval village of Montréal in northern Burgundy and is perfectly situated for visiting some of the region's prime locations such as Chablis, Semur-en-Auxois and Vézelay. Quintessentially French, the village is quiet and relaxing, with well preserved houses and extensive views over the Serein valley.

Entering the house there is a small sitting area opening out into the kitchen dining room. This is fully equipped including a dishwasher, and leads out onto the garden which is child and dog secure. There is a shower room on this level.

Upstairs there is the comfortable family sitting room with a log burner, a double bedded room with a balcony overlooking the view, a second double room with view, a twin room and a large bathroom with separate shower and washing machine. There is English and French TV, DVD player and WiFi.
Outside, there is private parking.

The owners of Petit Crème, Graham and Christine Battye live in the village at Maison Crème Anglaise, one minute's walk from the cottage. Here you can use the large swimming pool, changing room and sauna at your leisure, shared with other guests.*

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Prices

From 450 euros per week in low season up to 1200 euros per week in August. Mid and low season, three nights for 250 euros. During the low season, the cottage can be divided into two for two to four people - price on application.

* Maison Crème Anglaise offers bed and breakfast. There is a second cottage, Grand Crème, sleeping 6-7. With the combined accommodation of the two cottages and the bed and breakfast this is a great venue for a family get-together or a wedding.
