The holiday cottage La Cure, stands in the grounds of an old presbytery on the outskirts of the pretty village of Chissey-en-Morvan, 15 minutes from Autun.

From the terrace you have stunning views across the undulating valley to the forests of the Morvan beyond. All around there are fantastic walks, plenty of attractions to visit, such as Lac des Settons, Château de Sully, Beaune and Bibracte, and Autun itself.

There is free access to the private tennis court up the track, looking out over the valleys and hills. This is a great area to explore.

The Accommodation

The ground floor of the cottage is open-plan with fully equipped kitchen/dining area with gas cooker and fridge/freezer. The sitting room has an open fire, comfortable sofas, DVD and CD player. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, a twin bedded room and the shower room with shower, basin and WC.

The large terrace overlooks the beautiful valley and from here you can literally count the sheep. You have access too to the patio-garden with barbeque, and to a sunny lawned garden with herbaceous borders and a herb garden, all lovingly maintained by the Dutch owners.

395 euros for 2 persons, 470 euros for 4.
