In the stunningly beautiful Armançon valley, this restored coach house is kitted out to provide a real home from home. The famous wine town of Chablis and the vineyards of Auxerre are close by. Two grand châteaux, Ancy-le-Franc and Tanlay, the medieval village of Noyers, the abbey of Fontenay and Semur-en-Auxois are just a few of the trips in the locality. So, position wise it is excellent.

The Coach House also provides for all creature comforts too. In the grounds of a 17thC hunting lodge, French antiques are mixed with rustic furniture to give an authentic atmosphere.

All on one level, you enter into the large sitting room with oak beamed ceiling and open fireplace, flagstone floors and comfy seating, sat TV, HiFi and DVD player. There is a dining area and a raised kitchen area which has washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven. French doors lead out to a shady and secluded garden. One twin bedded room has bathroom ensuite. There is also a double bedded room and another single bedded room sharing a separate shower room and WC.

The swimming pool is shared with Spring Cottage and here there are ample sun loungers and a barbecue area. Table tennis and boule are available and so is WiFi.

So, for two families or a large group of friends, you could rent both cottages to provide accommodation for up to ten people. Owners Helena and Moe will give you lots of local insider information on where to go so you are in good hands.

680€ per week low season rising to 1050€ and 1350€ in high season.
