Villa Anna, 15 minute’s drive from Vézelay
If you enjoy the countryside, this is a beautiful location to set off from for walking, cycling, or touring. You can explore the lakes and villages in the Morvan Natural Park, the Canal du Nivernais, the treasures of Vézelay, the market town of Avallon and Château Bazoches. The GR13 passes closeby as well as lots of other well planned routes.
But Villa Anna is more than a bed and breakfast, there are lots of communal areas in the house to relax and do your own thing, as well as the garden and orchard. At the very top of this maison d’maître in the attic space there is a reading and computer room, a psychedelic cinema space to watch a choice of DVDs, and a charming bedroom with small shower room en suite.
On the ground floor there is the fifth bedroom, a shower room, the sitting room and dining room with terrace beyond where breakfast is served. There is also a barbecue area and a mature garden and orchard surround the house on all sides. For a family or a group of friends, there is everything you need for a relaxing holiday to suit all age groups come rain or shine. prices Rooms are 50 euros per night including Continental breakfast with cheeses and ham. The larger family room sleeping up to 4 is from 60 euros per night with a supplement for more than two. There is a reduction of 20% for stays of four nights or more. The accommodation
On the middle floor there are three bedrooms and a shower room. Each bedroom has tall windows with lovely views – two of which have a balcony looking across the valley. One of these rooms has a bed settee and can be turned into a family room sleeping up to four. Here too on this level there is a fully equipped kitchen for guests – a small supplement is charged for its use. Prepare your evening meal here or try out the local restaurants in the villages nearby.
