Success! 'Les Climats de Bourgogne' - a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Chevalier Montrachet,Burgundy, BIVB, Ibanez

Given the green light on July 4 by UNESCO,'Les Climats' has been named as a cultural site. These 1,247 'parcels' of land are located on the slopes of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, and stretch for nearly 60 km from Dijon to Maranges. They include micro- differences (geology, soil, slope, exposure, weather conditions, grapes, etc.), which, combined with the expertise of winemakers, contribute to the reputation of Burgundy wines since the Middle Ages. Congratulations Burgundy!
